Born in Germany, I studied medicine at the universities of Saarbrücken and Lübeck untill 1976. PhD in kidney fysiology 1980.
After emigrating to Sweden in 1976 and internship at the lokal hospital in Gävle I started my residence in ortopedic surgery in Gävle and later in neurosurgery at the University clinic of Uppsala. Board certified 1986 in both specialties.
In Uppsala I mainly worked and researched in periferal nerv damage at the department for spinal injuries and backpain.
1988 I followed my teacher and kollegue doc. Bo Nystrom to the first private clinic for treatment of back-alignments, Ryggkirurgiska Kliniken i Strängnäs. There we had a lot of surgical research about fusion of the spine. All operations were done with microsurgical techniques.
Since 1985 I was involved with Brügger therapy and 1994 I had the opportunity to get in contact with doctor Brügger in Zürich.
I received education in Brügger therapy and had many discussions with dr. Brügger. Until 2002, the year dr. Brügger died, I was entrusted to help spread his knowlegde through lectures and seminars, national and international.
Since 2000 I started a consulting practice with educational responsibility. 2002-2004 I worked parttime with Brügger therapy in a project for the state health service in Nordanstig, Sweden. The results of this project will be published soon.
I have published 11 monografies.
What a visit involves:
together we map out all previous mechanical (orthopedic) and neurological dysfunctions and we devise a plan to counteract these problems.
If you need komplementary treatment, I will send you respectively.
I will give you at-home training assignments, which i truly hope you will go through on a regular basis. Only conscious changes in muscle movement patterns will give the desired (symptom-free) result.
insufficient training gives insufficent results.
